WAIPA NETWORKS BUSINESS AWARDS APPOINTS AMBASSADOR
Kerry Saberton of Jigsaw Professional Development has been appointed as the Waipa Networks Business Awards Ambassador for 2018.
Waipa, March 21, 2018 – The 2018 Waipa Networks Business Awards (the Awards) have seen a significant shift this year with organisers Cambridge and Te Awamutu Chambers of Commerce in association with Raglan Chamber of Commerce opting to appoint an Awards Ambassador.
The Awards are the premier business event in the Waipa and Raglan regions.
The appointment has been made to further reach and encourage businesses to enter the awards by providing support and advice from a peer who has experienced the awards first hand.
“Kerry is a great choice for us as she has first-hand experience with the awards process and has seen some incredible developments within her business as a direct result of her entry. Kerry has a passion for the awards that drives her to share their tangible benefits.”
Tania Witheford, Cambridge Chamber of Commerce.
Kerry will represent the Awards at key networking events, information sessions and at the upcoming launch event.
The aim of her involvement in the Awards this year is to add real value for entrants, as her advice and support comes from the voice of experience.
Kerry will be speaking at the Awards Launch, at Mystery Creek Events Centre Headquarters on the 5th April, alongside the Chambers, sponsors and other previous winners. It’s a great night to learn more about entering the awards over some light refreshments. Those attending will also have the opportunity to win a spot prize or two – including Air New Zealand and Raglan Rock vouchers! If you are interested in attending, RSVP here.
Recognising the importance of the Awards, The Chambers have appointed PomPom Events & Marketing to assist with the management of the Awards programme. Business partners Natalie Rutene and Charlotte Tollervey of locally based PomPom are said to be excited to be taking on the event alongside the Chambers.
“The Awards have grown year on year to become the key event in the Waipa & Raglan business calendar, organising it has become a full-time job in itself. We felt that the time had come to support The Awards with the appropriate resource and to ensure we can maintain continuity of the Chamber programme. It’s great to have Natalie and Charlotte on board and we look forward to celebrating the success of our business community.”
Kris Anderson Te Awamutu Chamber of Commerce.
